Competition

The Global Student Entrepreneur Award (GSEA) is a competition that supports undergraduate students or graduate student entreprenuers. The aim of GSEA is to help students elevate/lift their entrepreneurial ventures to another level. Only students that are currently enrolled in school and have or own a business that has been operating atleast 6 months prior the competition can qualify to participate. Note that student's business should at have generated atleast $500 revenue and/or have received $1000 in investment. The first global winner gets $50,000 in cash, the second wins $20,000 in cash, and the third receives $10,000. For graduate students, they shoud have been enrolled in graduate school right after their completion of undergraduate degree. Only one gap year is permitted. Also, one does not qualify to re-apply in the GSEA competition if they were a finalist in the previous years. To get a better sense global winners of the GSEA, one can watch the movie: Own the Room.
