The 1Philadephia initiative brings together various stakeholders in Philadephia. They aim at making Philadephia the capital of equitable technology and innovation. The three main areas of impact are community cultivation, talent developement, and access and upskilling. They host various entreprenurial events and help each other learn and ameliorate their entrepreneurial skills. Also, they have the Early Validation Academy, an initiative that aims at supporting underepresented tech founders by providing trainings and mentorship services. Also, selected companies participate in an in-person Demo Weekend to pitch their business ideas to potentail investors and receive $10,000 to fund their business ideas.
